I ordered this headset through Amazon. Despite coming up after searching “USB gaming headset for Mac” and despite the fact that the box clearly says it is for the Mac, the product does not support Snow Leopard. If you contact Creative they will deny that they make products for the Mac. I haven’t been able to get it to work. This instructions say to insert the disc in the drive, but there is no disc in the package.
Edit: rating upgraded from 1 to 3 stars. Creative’s tech support refused to help and flatly stated that they do not make products for the Mac and do not offer support. Thankfully, I had no such problems with Amazon’s support. Since no sound came through when the headset was plugged into the USB port, and the device did not appear as a selection on my Sound Preferences, the tech suggested that my headset might just be defective and sent me a replacement. The replacement worked fine, right out of the box. So I will give 3 stars for the product, 5 for the support I received from the seller, and zero for the manufacturer being totally unaware they made this product.

So I recently purchased this item and I am pretty much in love with it. I’ve gotten so many headsets that dont work on Mac but this one does. You just plug it in and the darn thing WORKS. Not install, No Setups. The thing just works!
I’d also like to add it is indeed comfortable(at least for me it is) the sound quality seems clear and my voice comes through nice. Seeing as this is only the second day of me having this item anything could go wrong in due time. I’ll be sure to update this incase anything happens to go wrong

My ears hurt! I am female, my head is not large, but these are like a vise on my head and I already have sore points right below my ears where they are the tightest. If I adjust them upward, I get a pressure point on the top of my head. I should have just bought another Logitech, and considered them disposable, as I buy 2 or 3 a year. My attempt to upgrade and avoid that was a mistake when it comes to comfort. I intend to park them on a stack of books every night and hope I get them stretched out to a comfortable width.
The instructions showed a disc being necessary to download the software, but there was none in the package. After about 5 minutes of trial and error I got them to work w/o any download.
The inline control is annoying. I am used to tapping my right ear piece for mute so fumbling to find the mute switch is something I will have to get used to. I suppose that is a small price to pay for the the durability I expect.
The sound quality is excellent, so if you have a smaller head, you will love these.
